On Sept. 24, Corriere della Sera, one of Italy's most famous quality newspapers, will change its format and formula in order to fulfil 21st century information needs.

Corriere will then have three main changes:

- physical change: the Berliner tabloid format will be adopted (as many other important newspapers i.e. Le Monde, El Mundo, The Guardian etc.) to be more practical, modern and easy to handle;

- graphic change: a new lay out, lighter, fresher and more ordered, will lead the readers into the different sections of the daily news;

- editorial change: always searching for originality, focus and commentaries, news will be summed up and discussed at length on the site, there will be more space for opinions and for the international context.

On the other hand, Corriere della Sera won't change the news hierarchy, the distinctive fonts, (Brera and Solferino), the contributors and its authoritativeness.
