New magazine of Dagens Nyheter - Sweden
On October 25th, Dagens Nyheter launched its new magazine “DN VÄRLDEN”. A milestone in the media landscape in Sweden as "DN VÄRLDEN" is the first glossy magazine of any generalist newspaper.
“DN VÄRLDEN” will be distributed free to subscribers but also available on newsstands independently (approx. 900’000 readers).
As its name indicates, “DN VÄRLDEN” is taking advantage of the strong international network of, foreign correspondents of Dagens Nyheter. “DN VÄRLDEN” will cover each month the international news especially with a particular emphasis on photojournalism.

Dagens Nyheter increased its readership – Sweden
The last Orvesto readership figures show an I N C R E A S E in number of
R E A D E R S to Dagens Nyheter on both weekdays and weekends.
- National readership increase range between +3,2% to +4,8%
- Stockholm readership increase range between 1,7% to +3,8%
Dagens Nyheter, which has been launched on 1864, is the largest morning quality daily in Sweden. Every day, more than 900’000 people read Dagens Nyheter. 97% of the Dagens Nyheter circulation is subscribed.
People can also read the newspaper on www.dn.se, which has approximately 1’200’000 unique web browsers visiting per week. About 50’000 people are also visiting the mobile site every week.
After the two success-stories DN Summer in Sweden and DN Snö, Dagens Nyheter will continue to publish special supplements in 2010.
The issues will have a clear editorial focus, where readers will get new ideas and facts for planning their trips and holidays.
