Last June, L’Equipe launched a revamp of its magazine and website with the addition of new layouts, new apps and more ways of interacting with the world of L’Equipe.
This is the first such reform since the 90s according to Francois Morinière, the General Director of the L’Equipe group. The aim of these changes is to create a more absorbing and comfortable reading experience for the 2,175,000 readers of L’Equipe.
The quality of the front cover has been improved, and 3 new sections have been added for the reader: Evénement, Omni and Extra.
Augmented Reality will be maximized in the new layout, offering even greater scope for exploration and consumption of the L’Equipe brand.
The homepage on the L’Equipe website has also been updated to improve the online experience of users. A new mini-site dedicated to practical information and participation in sport has been launched. Furthermore, in partnership with the CNOSF (The French Olympic Committee), L’Equipe is opening a media platform which will unite information from 100 sporting federations, including 5000 videos. Additionally, the digital offer has being enlarged with the expansion of the MyLEquipe app, now available on iOS and soon to be available on Android.
Moreover, Sport&Style will have a new layout and formula starting from the Sept. 14 issue.
It will have a new format and a more qualitative paper, with a new layout, which will be more contemporary and innovative, with great usage of pictures.
